Main Features :

This machine is an eight-axis five-linkage CNC gear shaping machine in vertical layout that fulfills the radial cutting motion by column movement along the bed and the back-off motion by oscillating toolpost. The eight axes include X-axis (Radial feeding motion), C1-axis (Cutter circular motion), C2-axis (Workpiece circular motion), A-axis (Crank rotating motion), B1-axis (Back-off cam motion), B2-axis (Worktable oscillating motion), Z-axis (Toolpost slide vertical motion), and Y-axis (Stroke length adjustment). During the gear shaping, the axes X, C1, C2, A, and B1 realize five-linkage.

This machine is installed with Siemens 840DSL CNC system. This machine features following characteristics:

1. This machine incorporates the electronic helical slideway function to realize the machining function of helical gears without using special helical slideways.

2. This machine incorporates the toolpost slide lifting function, which is especially suitable for the shaping of duplex gears with same modulus but different tooth numbers by single clamping.

3. The machine is designed with CNC oscillating worktable to realize the machining of gears with special tooth curve, besides the machining of small taper gears.

4. High productivity

The toolpost structure of this machine is installed with static pressure slideways and static pressure bearings to meet the need of high speed strokes, with the maximum stroke speed at 2,500 cycles/min.

5. High stiffness and thermal stability

The bed is a foundation component double-wall structure made of high-density cast gray iron, featuring excellent thermal stability.
